'Saving the planet, one scrap, one stitch, one piece at a time'
Creative Reuse Toronto a creative community resource centre 68 Abell Street, Toronto
An Arts & Environment Learning & Resource Centre is a facility that Invests in the future of our planet and sustainable community in Toronto through: . skill sharing . workshops . art and craft making . events . education/training . reuse of unwanted materials . redistribution of wasted resources
On March 1, 2020 we opened our Arts & Environment Learning & Resource Centre. On March 12 we had to close the space to the public because of the Covid-19 Virus. This global epidemic has been very difficult. It has forced changes to every facet of our lives and work. Granting agencies switched funding models to an emergency status: providing funds for health, safety and food security. Waste management and community development were not a priority.
Despite those challenges, we are currently organizing for a fundraising sale, and getting ready to start classes. Watch for announcements. We have some interesting things in the works!
COVID-19 Restrictions and Protocols
As of September 23, everyone who comes into our space will be required to show proof of full vaccination as required by the Public Health Regulations.

When we have outdoor events, you are welcome to attend provided you wear a mask and follow health and safety protocols. We are hoping that the need for this policy will be able to change soon. We are working hard to find approaches that will improve safety.
