We accept donations of materials and financial support. All funds and materials received go toward supporting our operations and programming.
Donate Funds You can donate funds by e-transfer using our email addressor by cheque (please emailus for mailing instructions). As we are a registered not for profit organization, we regret that we cannot issue income tax receipts.
Our Wish List Interested in helping us make our teaching studio more accessible and safe for participants? Our wish list includes many things that will improve the use of our space for everyone, including:
Gallery hanging rails to host art shows
Kitchenette for events, including slop sink for studio cleanup and dyeing
Microphone, sound system, video screen, and projector for events
Portable industrial air cleaner with HEPA filter
Small truck, van, bus, or trailer we can use to travel around the city for events
Sunproof UV film for our windows to prevent fading of artwork and to make our space more energy efficient
Tents and equipment for outdoor events

Donate Materials (Please note that we are at capacity for donations at this time. There are a few things we still need for classes and programs, so please contact us first to see if we can take your items) What we really need is a warehouse space! We accept material donations by appointment only. Send an email to to notify us about your intent to donate materials and to make a donation appointment. In your email include pictures if possible, and give us an idea of quantities (number of boxes etc) in your donation. Please tell us if the items are overstock or cleared from a business. See our detailed list below.
Please note that we cannot accept anything that is unclean, which has pests or comes from a location with pests (such as clothes moths, cockroaches, bedbugs, etc), has mold or mildew, or has strong odours such as nicotine, marijuana or perfumes. We do not have the facilities to disinfect or landfill contaminated items.
Industry and Business We are interested in offcuts, overstock, and interesting items. Send an email to give us an idea of the volume and size of your intended material donation, including photos where possible. If there are any restrictions on how your materials can be reused, please include that information in your email inquiry. Please consider making a financial donation to assist with handling costs.
